WHY WE CHOSE THIS SONG

"I wouldn't have done all the things that I had done, if I knew one day you'd come."  When we're fretful, it's good to ask yourself a little time travel hypothetical: "If today were yesterday, how would you change the present, right now, here in the future?"   When we are the ones who choose to drive action forward, instead of just being something life happens to, we can have real faith in the future, because we have faith in our own capacity to affect it.  There can be no faith where there is no strong sense of self, and there is no strength without the real love and identification with something greater than ourselves, that abides within us and inspires us to forgive, move ahead, and live fully without fear or regret.
