This is an appeal to your logic re: reincarnation. I was born and raised Buddhist, but, any religion, whether for or against the idea of more than one go 'round should not be the basis of whether or not you should subscribe to the idea of reincarnation. If you arrive at this conclusion and begin to see how it affects your day-to-day life, then you're really starting to listen to your intuition and moving beyond the "seen" world. Though life is packed with examples defying everyday explanation, we can ignore them, or simply say what is unknown is a mystery that cannot be known, so, why bother at all? But, when the mysterious suddenly bats our noggins - crashing into it - whether by accident or design, how do we apprehend this realm pervading all which is seen & beyond if we choose to ignore or dismiss it? What mystery exists for the willfully blind?
Reincarnating into castes is a convenient way to dehumanize some and keep a carrot out in front (follow the rules and you, too, can be born into a higher caste!) to keep one motivated in the right (religious) direction. Class systems are always a construct of society, in place to benefit the few allowing them to justify a so-called enviable position. As the man that is called Jesus said, "In my Father's house are many mansions." The material is not critical to Spirit, but our spiritual growth into mastery is what creates those "mansions" and does not exclude wealth, they can co-exist, but wealth that does nothing but serve itself is not a mansion but a prison, no matter how lavish. Opulence gained by dubious or unscrupulous means usually "slips like quicksilver through a nest of cracks" (B. Tarkington) because a dollar is backed by the energy by which it was acquired. Did you read that? Read it again! A dollar is never just a dollar but an exchange of energy so endeavor to deal with others fairly and you've evaded the money trap and cracked the money code. Obviously, what human beings classify as enviable also depends on the level of awareness of the individual. If you believe "getting away with bad behavior" means you're special, it's the opposite -- you're not held to a higher standard because no one expects it of you -- it's an insult & usually a way to gather more karma (& quickly), not a blessing but a curse attributed to the ancient East, "May you get everything you desire!"
Suffice it to say you cannot simultaneously be bought and be spiritual. If money/stuff/the accolades of the crowd or controlling the crowd are what you desire and consider enviable then, indeed, you're adhering to one of the 4 noble truths of Buddhism: Desire is the root of all suffering. If, however, you desire to be lovely & loving, heaven on earth will surely be yours as you receive what you give in yet another application of the eternal cycle. Maintaining the ruse of distinctions of "better" or "worse" among humans requires you submit to the falsehood of some belonging to a "lower" echelon, or appeals to hubristic arrogance fueling the charade of "superiority". (Ugh. Exhausting.) Everyone loses in this dance of degradation because it's a lie -- all of it. You can't excel from a place of nihilation: Putting yourself or others down KEEPS YOU DOWN. You cannot rise to embody your divinity while also allowing yourself to be subjugated. You cannot lend a hand to help another up from a position of lying down. It's your responsibility & birthright to call out all canards which bind or usurp. The world has no obligation to be kind to you -- that is your job! Do it well and prosper in every way imaginable & then some! Pay it forward with strength and discretion & watch your happiness yield multiply. Finally, on prosperity as the ultimate prize, is the stratification of human experience solely economical with reincarnation a social program equalizing over time the perverse scale of "have-nots" to the "haves"? It's nothing so prosaic nor pecuniary, crass or social-climbing, but, again, depends on what the definition of "have" is & who's defining it.
Perhaps you've inferred by now that if reincarnation is actuality then you've experienced existences of different sexes, sizes, colors, cultures & creeds -- and you would be right. Whether you believe it or not (I didn't believe in reincarnation in my last life, either!😆), you should never feel "less" or "more" due to your standing/status/race -- we're all children of a Greater God (God is always greater, whatever our conception of God) -- each equally free to choose to act out of Love and transcend. Remember, no one can imprint guilt or shame upon you, whether through family, religion, or politics (or experiences subconscious or otherwise) without your consent. There's a reason we forget the past when we enter a new life learning cycle. If you just consider one lifetime, the weight of the past can be so debilitating and fear-filled it's nearly impossible to grow beyond our current understanding. If we were to recall mistakes made readily, it could severely hinder our spiritual growth (counterproductive as we may be here to heal the very thing we can't remember!). Karma is to balance out that which is "out-of-whack" and the "why" is not critical since the "how" is the mechanism through which all is addressed and perfected.
The interior 360 of the circle, the inner integral unseen supporting that which IS seen, is the journey spanning every scale of time and size & is the when/where in space/time in which you planned meticulously & lovingly your current experience, designed BY YOU (in your also infinite wisdom as you're a complete, whole, perfect part of Spirit -- everything in the small Spirit is in the large). You may not like some of the circumstances, but many were carefully chosen and deemed optimal for your greatest spiritual growth... then life happens. Plans DO change, mistakes are made, accidents CAN occur, but, with our freedom of choice, alternates are always at the ready -- just as good at least and sometimes better! (Abba-cata-stasis!) The point is to get "on board" with the journey you planned instead of wandering around lost going it alone. Don't despair should you lose your way, for, we readjust and it's just a matter of "when" before you head home; that "when" being when you no longer feel incapable or unworthy to effect positive & permanent change in your life. This is also when the circle(s) become complete & harmonious, the outer journey at last aligning with the inner.
So, here you are, a magnificent part of evolution, cascading across epochs, millennia & ages, microcosmically filling in the details of the Macrocosmic Wonderland. The universe is endlessly cycling, iterating from the infinitesimally small to the infinitesimally large and, though different rules govern, the universality shared is the 720 degree circle unifying this still but one universe. How human to think we're the exception, that, in Nature everywhere evolving and perfecting, we're fated to waste energy and potential in a stagnant afterlife. Examination of the subatomic world looks to individual particles, yet, these tiny particles exist to support the physical world. Particles can behave individually and unpredictably ("spookily" or "eerily" say scientists lest "mystery" stray too far from orthodoxy) being both particle and wave in motion, they're individual bits of consciousness in action (NTsquared!). We are, on larger dimensions, like those particles: Free to make choices, but within a Grand Plan. There is no debate over free will and determinism: We have both and are a product of both. How absurd to think we only get to use them once... Just as we're starting to get good at life. 💜~t.
