Buckle up for a long ride!

Prayer is a universal activity, deserving attention and examination.

Our series on prayer continues this week with a discussion on 3 components of effective prayer.  As time goes on we'll discuss all of them in depth, with a lot more content to come!

Part of real confidence comes from having real meaning in life.  When your prayers (which are also thoughts and feelings and actions) become worthwhile -- the entire game changes.  Forget losing and winning: you're just enjoying yourself and getting a whole lot of satisfaction out of being alive.

Siding with what's positive can be a real effort when we've been steeped in negativity training.  Next week, Tian's lecture will go into more detail about this.  Just remember to acknowledge every step forward, every small victory.  Take them for granted, or dismiss them and you'll be missing your entire life.
