The more I see of dogs, the more I know of God.

Hot-Diggety God!

 Dogs, and children, are masters of the moment.  When we're preoccupied with the future, or hung-up on the past; the moment now, in all its richness and complexity, is completely lost to us.  We cannot respond to it, in it, because we are elsewhere.  We are in the world and of it, and therefore unable to change or effect our world for good.  

Pain, being pain, can teach us a lot about mastering the moment.  Pain demands our focus and brings us right into the here and now.  When it's acute, it reminds us of what's important: we don't have enough energy to waste on anything else.  If we fight pain, then we have struggle upon discomfort.  When we embrace it and love it, too -- love it, all -- then we transform something awful into something beautiful...

... and transcendent.  You see: we're not meant to overcome, we're meant to overwhelm our circumstances with love, altering our experience while transforming them at the same time.  You are meant to transcend your current self into ever-evolving better versions (always upgrading) and you are endowed with this ability by an infinitely loving and intelligent Creator.  

Evolution is a product of Creation.

You are a product of Creation.

Go forth and create, evolve, and master the moment.
