Move on from self-pity, or always wanting things your way, because it keeps you small -- and there's nothing small about you.
It's also selfish because instead of loving someone -- you want something from them -- you want them to feel sorry for you, or have it be all about you.
Selfishness gets in the way of true communication, of being present, experiencing and loving in the moment. We can get angry when things don't go the way we want them to... This anger is really code for being hurt; which is often just feeling sorry for ourselves. But beware, there's a price: Self-pity steals our happiness and it steals our life.
Every time we choose to whine or complain, we sacrifice our happiness: It's a choice.
Don't you deserve to be happy? (I'm assuming, "yes," is your answer.)
Then, make it happen and MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE!!!
