Our Superman Lives.

If Christmas is a time of celebration, family, gift-giving, perhaps a New Thought would be to make Easter a time of reverent awe, self-reflection, and rejuvenation of a spark of connection with the Divine.  

The story of the man who’s come to be called Jesus is well-known by many and not at all by others.  It matters not for he is crucial to this planet and never really left but made his miracle of conquering death known so it could be documented and do the good it's meant to do.

He’s had other go ‘rounds you may have heard, as Buddha, Zoroaster to name a few, but it wasn’t until this very public miracle did Yeshua (Yaweh), for that was his real name, make the lasting and STILL EXPANDING impact upon our Earth.  

Before Jesus children were the lowest of the low, many suffering in servitude, never mind a good childhood!  Childhood wasn't even a consideration let alone an ideal to strive for or treasure.  This remains true, sadly & notably, wherever LOVE (what Jesus stood for) is not honored from the heart.  

He raised the status of women.  He first appeared to Mary after his incredible act of resurrection, who had been a courtesan, and loved best by Jesus of the disciples.  He had other "outer-worldly" help you may not be aware of (we ALL need help to do spectacular things!) but he had to do the hardest part solo.

You see, he'd already conquered himself, “I have overcome the world,” he said.  You and I are meant to do that, too.  He wasn’t overly concerned with anyone else’s “sins”.  From the Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East by Baird T. Spalding,

"It is written (in Matthew 27:46) that my last words on the cross were: ‘My God, my God, why hast
thou forsaken me?’  This is a complete mistranslation.  The words actually were: 

'My God, my God, thou hast never forsaken me or any of thy children, for thy children can come to thee as I have
come.  They can see my life as I have lived my life.  Thus, by living that life, they do incorporate the Christ and become One with you, God my Father.’ 

There was never a thought of desertion or separation.”


In the most painful, difficult moments of a personal trial YOU REAFFIRM TRUTH, YOU DON’T TURN VICTIM.

JESUS IS NOT A VICTIM. 
HE NEVER WENT VICTIM.

YOU CANNOT OVERCOME THE WORLD AND WHINE AT THE SAME TIME.

Fighting your battles, as I have my own, you must kill what seeks to rule you that is evil, and you cannot fight evil with evil.

ONLY THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.

THE TRUTH AFFIRMS YOU ARE CAPABLE.  POWERFUL.  CARED FOR.  BELOVED. 

This passage also addresses the crux and controversy of John 3:16 and 14:6.  It succinctly clarifies not that you must somehow "go through" Jesus, like dropping a name to get into some exclusive club, but you will find the wherewithal - within yourself - to become the driving source of your own resurrection as well!  

Easter should be THE recognized holiday reminding us of this fact & feat we all face.

Rejecting what has kept you dependent and weak requires you love your own goodness and strength MORE than the ego's wants and needs you've been so convinced in pursuing.  You must love your Divinity GREATER than love of/fixation on money, personality, power.

Forget the bunnies and egg hunting...  How can frivolous rituals serve you now?  Did they ever?

Be inspired.  Use this opportunity to remember Easter is about reverence, wisdom, and the miraculous world-defying, thus defining ACT, without which there'd be NO Easter, NO Christmas, NO Christianity (without Judeo-Christian values would America even exist?); NO certainty of what we could be, where we're heading, and the sacrosanct stuff we're truly made of...

THIS is the miracle of Easter: to inspire you to RE-unite with God (not religious, meaning tied to God), but UNITED:  ONE with God.  

And so it is.

"What would you do if today were your last day?" 

The question is posed often, and with good reason.  Important things can be put off, today treated cheaply, & love saved up to be spent on special occasions deemed "more important."  The best version of yourself is NOT meant for holidays only! Seriously consider the question and watch past mistakes forgiven & healing found as you raise everyone up instead of feeling threatened or competitive! You will find happiness helping others without seeking gain for yourself. Love will pour from you unto all those around you. Take this oft-cliched question seriously and you are in danger of becoming a walking talking (flying?) bona fide superhero, zapping people with light beams of powerful goodness because you have, at last, aligned yourself with the truth of who you are: a beautiful, miracle-bringing child of God.  It's the best version of yourself, and is always there just waiting to save the day!

special is not limited to some: Limits live more in the mind than in reality 

Life can reject you in so many ways but that's no reason or excuse for you to reject yourself!  To be super is to work with all your positives, gifts, and might to allow all the glory you can to express through you!  Pain is real but you are stronger than any struggle: You are super special and you can and will overcome.   

time of new thought: Emotional stability, listening to your own gut, not being motivated by fear or greed: these are gold in any field of endeavor.

BOOM!  Warren Buffett said it: Find what you love to do and the material is secondary.  Tell Fear and Greed to take a flying leap -- or maybe it's time for YOU to take a flying leap of faith and get off the devilish merry-go-round of lack and competition fueled by ego (rather than Spirit) and find your own thing!  It starts by having the courage to follow your own heart and daring to find the reward that awaits you there.

GET CAUGHT UP ON YOUR REST.
In order to be at your "superherobest," you need to make certain you're operating on a full tank of rest.  When you're tired you look and feel like Superman on the left (not so super, huh?).  But when you're rested and feeling strong, you can cape crusade with the best of 'em.  No more excuses -- get 'er done.

CLEAN UP.
When you clean and organize you automatically start to feel better.  When you respect your surroundings, it shows reverence for yourself, a key component to happiness. If you need a pick-me-up, just start picking things up and you'll be amazed at how super-fast you start feeling super-good.  How 'bout doing 1 15-minute room rescue when you're through with this site?  (But, if you're tired, do DIY #1 first before you get moving!)

REAL FRIENDS DON'T MAKE YOU CRY (in a bad way).

Real friends bring out your best,  Those who let you get away with things are:

1. Weak and want you to be, too.  
2. Feel sorry for you.
3. Want something from you. 

(None of these will wind up being good for you in the long run.)

Superheroes need super support and super friends to fight and win against not only crime, but the battle that is everyday life.  

Be a better friend:
Take time to truly listen & be interested in what your friends say.  Don't just wait for them to stop talking so you can say what you're thinking.  Listen and truly consider WITH LOVE before you respond. 

Get a better friend:
If you're used to taking abuse from friends or family you can think that nasty behavior means love and is normal -- far from it.  Pruning may be painfully difficult but it's necessary, not just to grow, but to be healthy and bear fruit.

Flying above all, be a super friend to yourself.
